At Hope Counseling Center, we want to encourage, edify, and empower each client in their relationships with family, friends, and God. We are dedicated to treat each individual with love, respect, truth and empathy. We share Biblical principles and life applications in the process of leading each person toward healing and wholeness in their relationships with God, family, and others.
Cindy Livingston is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, with a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Master of Social Work from University of Kentucky. She has done extensive work with delinquent youth and with individuals struggling with addictions. Cindy especially enjoys helping others with their theological understanding of God’s grace, truth, love and forgiveness.
Cindy is a member of American Association of Christian Counselors, National Association of Social Workers and National Association of Christian Social Workers. She has been in private practice in Ohio since 2003.
Cindy is also an assistant professor of social work at Spring Arbor University and has been teaching since 2004. She currently teaches in the BSW and MSW programs and she has administrative responsibilities within the social work programs.
Cindy specializes in working with adults and adolescents on various life issues. This includes: anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, trauma, relational conflict, spiritual conflict, parenting, marriage and family counseling, and issues of self-worth.
